The Committee on Finance moved to amend the bill by striking out the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

Senate Bill No. 349 -- H. B. 349 -- “A Bill to amend and reenact §11-21-9 and §11-21-71a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating to the West Virginia Personal Income Tax; updating the meaning of federal taxable income and certain other terms used in West Virginia Personal Income Tax; changing certain due dates; and specifying effective dates.”.
